I'm READY!

I've got my sharpened pencil, my lined paper, a 50's dress (because 50's dresses are awesome), a cushy red arm chair, The Piano Guys music, quiet time to myself and some questions to answer! I'm ready to write!!!!!

As many people know, I am an interesting person... I often am quite crazy, I am homeschooled, I love glitter, shoes, the 50's, pretty dresses, friends, parties that are simply just for the sake of partying, Simulations Week, dances, talking, cloaks, Minecraft, chainmaille, duct tape, Star Wars, Dr. Who, Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, tying celtic heart knots (the only cool one I know), swords, knives, and Summit. As many people know now that I've said this I am pretty awesome!

Hurray!

Today my friend was ordained a Teacher (he's super awesome!) and when I hugged him afterward, I had to stand on my tiptoes! That never happens! Especially since I'm 5 feet and 8 inches tall!

It's sim week again. The next four days will be crazy, stressful, hilarious, betraying, exciting, disappointing and SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All fueled by the Mentors, adrenaline and the participants attitudes and ideas. I'll probably lose a few pounds because of stress and the fact that I hardly will be able to eat anything. Maybe I'll be able to finish my oatmeal...

Today was a busy day. Today was a hard day. Today was a sad day.

I don't want to go into details, but I will say something happened on our street that was so very incredibly sad and my mom needed to help some people, so I was left to take care of the kids and make sure they got where they needed to go and still get to a meeting I had and that was only a small part of it.

Then when everyone was finally all home together for the first time today, we were finally able to relax...

And then, while it was raining I looked out the window and saw the most beautiful sky that I've ever seen! On the left it was a soft golden yellow color that slowly faded and turned into a bright electric type blue and then there was a rainbow.

I saw this and breathed a deep sigh. And when it rained harder I ran outside in my gym shorts and hoodie and jumped on the trampoline (not a smart thing to do in a potential thunder/lightning storm). The neighbors telling me I'm crazy (jokingly of course) from their back yard porches made me smile.

Then I ran to the front yard splashing and spinning on the way and I jumped into the gutter!

Splashing, bouncing, kicking, spinning, leaping, jumping, dancing. Dancing in the rain... It was a beautiful feeling! I felt fresh and clean and happy. I felt grateful for everything I had, have and will have.

I didn't care that I couldn't feel my hands and my feet, I just cared that I could feel happy.

Real happy.

Stuck in Shakespeare!

I was writing in my journal and at the end of the journal entry, I said "Farewell Friends!" and then automatically continued "Thus Thisbe ends! Adieu, Adieu, Adieu!" I am stuck in A Midsummer Nights Dream! I've been saying my lines and Bottom the weaver's lines in my head over and Over and OVER again!

I certainly will miss Shakespeare Conquest dearly! I did it for two school years and made some amazing friends and, lucky me, I get to see one of them tomorrow and then ALL of them on Saturday and ALL of them on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!

Happy girl in gym shorts... ;)

So... Today I FINALLY GOT SOME GYM SHORTS! HOORAY! I love them SOOO much! But not as much as my large, pink, floppy, hat with a bow... Or my pink and white, polka dot, 50's dress... Or my pink fuzzy robe... Hehehe...
Anyway, I feel so awesome in them because they're comfy and I'm not afraid to show up in public wearing them, unlike my last pair of "lay around" shorts (don't even ask, they were... Umm... Interesting...).

And totally off subject, my first performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream is TOMORROW!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Don't worry, I'm completely ready... ;P

Jane Austen - Seven Novels

I have a beautiful book that I got for Christmas last year. It's green with blue, white and gold on it and it has gold around the edges of the pages. It also just happens to be Jane Austen's seven novels. I challenged myself to read them by the end of this summer and I started today! It's basically the end of the school year for me, I finished key of liberty yesterday and now I just have the play left to do.

I'm SOOO excited to read them! I've tried to read Pride & Prejudice before but I was like 11 or 12, but now, two years later, I'm SOO ready to read them and love them! Hooray!!!!!

A Wonderful Week!

This week has been a good week!

On Monday, I wrote a 2 page hero report on Betsy Ross (I can tell you a lot about her now:), whom I really enjoyed researching and writing about her. And then the 1st episode of Studio C, season 2 came out and I watched that.

On Tuesday, I orally presented my hero report to my key of liberty class, in a princess dress and snood and then practiced the play I'm in, at Shakespeare class.

Then on Wednesday, I went shopping with my Momma and got some capris and a very much not planned on, pink, 50's style dress, with white polka dots! I love that new dress VERY much! I am forever in my mothers debt... Don't tell her I said that!!!!!

On Thursday my lil' sista turned 5 and my mom and I took her and three of her friends out to lunch and a movie (that's what I did on my birthday!) and we then dropped her friends off at their homes and took lil' sis to get a new "big girl" bike (I also got something on my birthday, although it wasn't a new bike, but a denim skirt). Then my siblings and I had soft pretzels and peanut butter cookies while mom and dad were gone that evening in Orem.

On Friday I went to Shakespeare practice and we did my most favoritest scene in the ENTIRE PLAY!!!!! It also happens to be one of the most awkward scenes for my friend Cameron, who plays Bottom the weaver. I also just happen to get to play both my characters, in ONE scene!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday... Nothing really happened... JK! GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing I love more than any holiday!!!!! (except the ones celebrating Christ) I took notes on ALL THE TALKS!!!!! Although I was saddened by the release of Sister Dalton, Sister Cook and Sister Dibb... But I have confidence I will love the new YW's general presidency, just as much as the one before.

And, last but not least, today. Sunday. General Conference! I, yet again, took notes on ALL THE TALKS!!!!! I particularly loved President Uchtdorf's talk and President Monson's first talk at the end of the 4th session (the one with him and his friend lighting the field on fire:). I also got all dressed up 50's style! (polka dots, pearls and all!) My family and I went I my Aunt Lexi's house where we had dinner, talked about general conference and had cake for little sister's birthday.

Or, in other words, it was a pretty awesome week.

So, I didn't wake up to my alarm this morning and when I actually did wake up, I picked up my phone to see what time it was and it then slipped right from my hand and landed on my face... Ha! What a lovely way to start the day!!! *sarcasm* ;)

~My Hair~

I have long, blonde, wavy, hair (quite a bit longer than the last time I said that) and I love it! And hate it at the very same time... Well, I don't hate it... I just very much dislike it when it ties itself in knots that not even Carson could do! Jk... No one I know can do more knots than Carson... But, my hair does like knots!
I think about possibly cutting it off... But then I think of all the friends that would kill me if I did and then push the thought from my mind and start thinking about my next glitter assault or something like that.
But I DO LOVE IT when I get the tangles out and people braid my hair and brush it and play with it...
Yep. That's my hair...

Oh! And COMPLETELY off this current subject, who signed up for The Knight Summit and/or The Virtue Summit??? There very well might be a slight chance I shall see you IF you come on Saturday!

All my church friends are like "boys are stupid, you think they're one thing and then they're not and then they break your heart."

Well, sorry girls as much as you like to think all guys are like that, they're not (well, at least the guys I know. Hehehe...).
I try to tell them, but they won't listen, especially the girls who dated before sixteen and had a boyfriend before they could even date.

I try to tell them I KNOW my friends wouldn't, won't and will NEVVEERR, do anything to make me lose their trust. And everyone just says "you can NEVER be sure about that."
Well, sorry again. I CAN BE SURE.

And I officially promise to ALLLLLLLLLLLL my friends, family, people I know, aquaintances and random people off the street, that I will NEVVEERR do anything to make you lose trust in me.

Sleeping habits...

I haven't really thought about this until now, but when I get married I'll have to share a room with my husband... And even more, I'll be sharing a bed with him... It will be quite strange to do so considering I've only shared a room with someone once in my entire life (so far) and I'm not sure if it was quite one year or not.

So, sharing a bed will be hard to get used to because...

#1. I like to steal ALL the blankets, but not usually the sheets (just ask any of my family or girl-friends that have had to share a bed with me on trips, specifically Clara and Melody).

#2. I MUST have my bed pushed against the wall, so I can stick my foot in-between the wall and the mattress or else I can't fall asleep (yeah, I'm weird...).

#3. I'm usually completely spread out all over the bed and there isn't usually space for someone else, especially since I sleep in a twin size bed.

Yep.
But of course I won't need to worry about this for at LEAST 4-5 years...

I have a secret board on Pinterest, of all the fashions from the 50's (and a few other random 50's stuff) and it will stay a secret board until it is the ultimate collection of 50's pictures!!!!! ;)

I also have a strange obsession of old fashioned pictures of women in 50's dresses...

Some VERY unrelated "Announcemens"

So... I'm going to save the sad one for last...

#1. I KNOW WHO I'M GOING TO PLAY IN A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM!!!!!!!!! *ahem* first off, it's not a large part and in fact it's two VERY small parts. I shall be, Robin Starveling the
tailor (but you can call me Starveling ;) and I shall also be Cobweb, a fairy (but you can call me Cobweb). YAY!!!!!

#2. I slightly injured my right shin. Slightly, I might add... Again... And it's kind of hard to explain exactly what happened, but I can tell you that it had something to do with getting out of the backseat of a truck and slipping while getting out and losing my shoe in the truck and limping inside. Oh, and hitting my leg.
And now I've ended up with two large goose eggs on my leg, a rather medium sized bruise (can you get goose eggs on your legs? Or just your head? Now don't judge me! I'm tired!) and a sir leg! YAY!!!!!

#3. I played human battleship for mutual tonight (YM &YW) and just happened to be the very first "SHIP" sunk because I was placed in the VERY MIDDLE of our "BOARD" where the other team was aiming (but of course they couldn't see us and we couldn't see them because of 3 hot pink king sized sheets, hung on a volleyball net in the middle of the church gym).
YAY!!!!!

#4. I'm going to move. It (pardon my language Chocolate) SUCKS!!!!!! I (pardon my language again please) HATE IT!!! We've been living at this house for NINE (pardon me yet again) FREAKING YEARS!!!!! And this is the only house I've lived in within my memory... :P Sadness... Well, God has a plan for us all and this is part of mine... Accept it Aria... Okay. It's going to do me good... Right? All I have left to say is I am VERY BLESSED to have the wonderful family and friends that I have and I'm grateful they will never go away despite where move (and we will NEVER leave Utah, so that also helps with the whole "NEVER GOING AWAY" thing) and goodbye and goodnight.

My mom suddenly decided it would be fun to clean our house up and de-clutter it... Friends and family have helped us, and now it's pretty much done. But... Our house seems to be unnaturally clean... And I just so happen to hate it very much. I very much dislike big change. Even so little a thing as cleaning up our home, can make me upset. *sigh* (thus relating to post title) I guess I'll get used to it.

Now on a happier note, auditions for the Shakespeare play are coming up in less than two weeks! Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I SHALL GO INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happily insane of course... Hehehe...

Sometimes in Shakespeare class, we have to do awkward things with each other... For example, today we were practicing voice emotions. So, King Kirk put us into pairs and then, we had to say "I Love You" to each other in as many different vocal emotions as possible. I was put with my friend Tristan. We took turns saying "I love you" to each other and took turns laughing at each other. I have to admit, it was QUITE HILARIOUS...

So, yep! That's what happened!!! Farewell 'til next time!!!
